In compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015, and other regulations applicable to the protection of personal data in Colombia, MEPEGO EU, identified by Tax ID No. 830120410-2, hereby requests, in advance, expressly, freely, and with full knowledge of the facts, the authorization of the data subjects to collect, store, use, update, disseminate, transmit, and, when necessary, transfer their personal data, in accordance with the purposes set forth in this document and in the MEPEGO EU Personal Data Processing Policy.

2. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

The personal data provided by data subjects may be processed by MEPEGO EU for the following purposes:

  • Coordinate product deliveries.
  • Handle requests, inquiries, petitions, complaints, and claims.
  • Manage warranties, exchanges, and returns.
  • Provide customer service and support.
  • Provide updates on the status of orders and purchases made.
  • To send information regarding promotions, launches, new developments, products, and services, provided that the data subject has authorized the sending of such communications.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.
  • Prevent fraud and contribute to the security of commercial transactions.

MEPEGO EU may process the following personal data in accordance with the purposes described above:

  • Type and number of identification document.
  • Residential or shipping address.
  • City and country.
  • Email.
  • Phone or cell phone number.
  • Information related to purchases made.
  • Order History.
  • Information required for billing.
  • Information required for product delivery.

MEPEGO EU will not collect or process sensitive data, except when there is express authorization from the data subject or when such processing is permitted or required by applicable law.

4. Rights of the Data Subject

In accordance with Colombian law on the protection of personal data, the data subject may exercise, among others, the following rights:

  • To access, update, and correct your personal information.
  • Request the correction of information that is biased, inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
  • Request the deletion of your personal data when appropriate.
  • Request the revocation of the authorization granted for the processing of your data, when applicable.
  • To know how your personal data has been used and processed.
  • Submit inquiries and complaints regarding the processing of your data.
  • File complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce if you believe your rights have been violated, after you have exhausted the appropriate procedures with the data controller or data processor.

5. Inquiries and Complaints

MEPEGO EU will address inquiries and complaints from data subjects in accordance with the terms and procedures established in current Colombian law and in its Personal Data Processing Policy.

6. Validity of the Authorization

Consent to the processing of personal data will remain in effect for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected and for as long as there is a legal or contractual obligation justifying its retention.

Once the purposes of the processing have been fulfilled and the retention periods established by applicable law have expired, MEPEGO EU will delete the personal data when appropriate, in accordance with its internal policies and procedures.

7. Authorization by the Account Holder

By providing your personal data, you hereby declare that the information provided is accurate and that you have been informed about MEPEGO EU’s Personal Data Processing Policy, your rights as the data subject, and the channels available to exercise those rights.

The data subject may freely, in advance, expressly, voluntarily, and with full knowledge of the facts, grant authorization for MEPEGO EU to process their personal data in accordance with the purposes described in this document and with the Personal Data Processing Policy.

Consent to the Processing of Personal Data

I hereby expressly authorize MEPEGO EU to collect, store, use, update, distribute, transmit, and process my personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Processing Policy and the purposes set forth in this document.

Consent to the processing of personal data will be granted through the mechanisms provided by MEPEGO EU for that purpose, including the forms available on its website.
